A trace of mounds arranged at regular intervals. A dumper is being loaded in the twilight. A thick veil of mist hovers above the treetops. Dark earth is excavated, conveyed and removed. In Dark Matter, various pictorial elements arranged situationally create a visual source of friction, characterised by the forms of a post-apocalyptic landscape. The images are determined by the process of raw material extraction.
